Opportunity to join the Witchtower Magazine Team

We have an opening for a new writer to join the Witchtower team. You must be reliable and able to commit to deadlines (and be able to write to a good standard obviously!)

As with all positions on Pagan Network, it is unpaid, but you do get a PDF copy of the magazine (not to mention you get to work with the friendly & supportive team of myself, Andy Norfolk and Beith-ann).

The Witchtower Magazine

Pagan Network (www.pagan-network.org) produces a PDF magazine called The Witchtower four times a year.

The Witchtower originally started out as a mini booklet in 2003, however it rapidly gained popularity and soon became a magazine. There is a small, but dedicated team who work on the Witchtower magazine voluntarily.

How to get the latest copies?
All full members of Pagan Network receive the PDF copy of the magazine upon its release as part of their membership. For more information about membership follow this link

Alternatively, you can subscribe to the magazine. Each issue is £2.50 or £10.00 to subscribe for one year.

We are only able to accept subscriptions and memberships via paypal.

Want To Write For Us?

We are always looking out for new writers, artists and poets. Even if you’re not too sure whether you would be a good writer, you can always send in your article, poem, story, artwork or review to the witchtower @ gmail.com and we’ll take a look at it for you and let you know if its suitable. So, come on, take that first big step, who knows you might even surprise yourself, give it ago! Please note that as we are a non profit organisation we are unable to pay for submissions. You will however, receive the PDF issue that your submission appears in.

Submission Deadlines

Yule/Imbolc issue - submit no later than 1st December

Ostara/Beltane issue - submit no later than 1st March

Summer Solstice/Lammas issue - submit no later than 1st June

Autumn Equinox/Samhain issue - submit no later than 1st September

Submission Guidelines

First decide on what you want to write about. If you are not sure whether the subject has been covered before you can always ask us

Then email us at the witchtower @ gmail.com to tell us that you intend to write an article and what it will be about. That way we can keep checking in with you on your progress. A list of deadlines for each issue can be found on this page. Don't forget to tell us which issue you are going to submit your article for and give us an estimated date when your article is expected to be finished.

When you have a finished masterpiece email it to the witchtower @ gmail.com. We will acknowledge receipt of your work and will also inform you of any changes that need to be done. Should we decide that your work is not suitable for publication we will also let you know. But don’t let that put you off… practice makes perfect!
